Serve your church                     Serve your city

Your involvement at OLF and our city matters because you make a difference.

Some of the opportunities above are within the walls of your church and others are partnering with Catholic Charities and other city organizations. Take a look at these different opportunities and find something you are excited about.

After Mass Socials

Coffee and Donuts: Who doesn't love a donut?

This is a fun ministry in which the entire family can be involved. We need lots of volunteers as we gather most Sundays following both the 8:00am and 10:30am Masses.

For more information or to volunteer for either of these ministries,

please contact Mary Nell  at msikorra@dioceseofspokane.org  or call (509) 747-7213.

Funeral Reception

The Concern Fellowship Committee provides a simple buffet luncheon for parishioners and their friends following the funeral of a loved one.

Volunteer to help prepare a dish or provide hospitality during and after the luncheon.

This ministry offers great comfort to grieving families and is a wonderful way to serve someone in your parish who is going through a difficult time.

For more information or to be on our on-call list, please contact Mary Nell  at msikorra@dioceseofspokane.org or call (509) 747-7213.

Parish Socials

We hold several parish social events throughout the year and need the help of many volunteers.

Events include picnics, receptions, BBQ's and others.

Each shawl provides comfort after a loss or in time of illness or recovery.

For more information or to request a shawl, contact Mary Nell  at msikorra@dioceseofspokane.org  or call (509) 747-7213.

Religious Education Catechist

We need adults to teach Catholic faith, values, and traditions to the next generation of young Catholics. This is a rewarding experience where you can truly make a difference in our parish.

Don't have time to lead a class? We can always use substitute teachers if that interests you.

For more information or to volunteer, please contact Mary Nell  at msikorra@dioceseofspokane.org  or call (509) 747-7213.

Right of Christian Initiation (RCIA)

Parish members assist in the faith formation of individuals who are becoming Catholics. This is a great opportunity to mentor or sponsor someone who is interested in joining our Church and to grow in one's own faith.

Classes meet Sundays at 9:30 am, September through Easter.

For more information or to volunteer, please contact Mary Nell  at msikorra@dioceseofspokane.org  or call (509) 747-7213.
